Job Description
Vistawall Architectural Products, a division of Oldcastle Glass, is the service and quality leader in the design, manufacturing and distribution of innovative entrances, storefront and low-rise framing systems, skylight systems and high performance engineered curtain wall systems. Vistawall is currently seeking a Standard Products Estimator in our Estimating Department at our Warwick, Rhode Island facility. This position entails developing cost estimates for stock lengths, fabricated doors and frames, and on occasion from Architectural Drawings.
Required Skills
·Working knowledge of computers and willingness to learn all the estimating
(ie: CustServ, VistaVision, Standard Products bid log)
·Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications.
·Ability to work quickly and accurately on time constraints on many projects.
·Good product knowledge.
·Must have very good communications with customers, sales reps, & other departments, both
verbal and in writing.
·Must be courteous and helpful to external & internal customers.
·Must be self-motivated and energetic. Possesses desire to grow within the department and
organization. |
