Position Overview: The IC Manager is responsible for providing input and leadership to the design and/or virtual design and construction process. Understands technical and planning attributes of specific building types. Provides meaningful input to the project's programming and conceptual design activities. Coordinates design team members and preconstruction services (i.e. estimating, scheduling, project planning, constructability, site utilization, etc.). When necessary, manages the integrated delivery team's resources. Oversees the preparation of models for facilities management. Responsibilities: - Oversees the production and management of 3D models
- Establishes the scope of work for projects
- Establishes the schedule and deliverables for integrated delivery services
- Oversees construction coordination
- Communicates model generated information to project team
- Implements 3D technology during construction
- Participates in the research and development of new technologies
- Internal training
- Develops project BIM models
- Attends, participates and presents at conferences
- Manages others
- Business Development support
- May lead the Operating Group Integrated Construction team.
Basic Qualifications: - Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent management and leadership skills
- Strong understanding of construction processes
- Facilitator of project collaboration and integrated delivery activities
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Moderate experience with and demonstrated knowledge of construction costs and financial risks; strong understanding of the things that impact cost
- Demonstrated basic understanding of A/E business and client's business interest.
- Experience managing people and processes.
- Familiar with contract language - construction and A/E
- Bachelor's degree or higher education from an accredited college or university in the team member's professional field (Architecture, Engineering, and/or Construction Management).
- A minimum of 8 years of progressively more challenging commercial construction management experience or equivalent combining education and experience. Licensure in professional field is recommended.
- High level of competency with advanced software. (2D and 3D AutoCAD minimum)
- Proficiency with Autodesk Architectural Desktop (ADT), Autodesk Building Systems (ABS), Autodesk Revit or Graphisoft Constructor preferred.
Additional Software proficiencies: - Navisworks, Primavera, and 3DS Max or Viz.
- Animation experience a plus
